Very Important Update

Hello all!
I'm going to keep this brief.
Today I went to work my typical 10 hour shift, got through the day fine to get an emergency call literal minutes before I am about to clock out.
One of my family members who stays with us has tested positive for covid-19.
After chatting with my boss on the phone after I left, we've determined that I am to take a two week paid leave from work to quarantine myself in order to not take any chances, and potentially get any of my coworkers sick.
What does this mean?
The positive:
More time for art, for sure. I will be continuing to work through this month's event and potentially take on additional commissions as well, since I'll have the time.
The negative:
There is now a very good chance that I may get covid myself and have a hard time working on things.
Thankfully I haven't shown any symptoms, so hopefully I'll be back to work again sooner rather than later.

Either way as soon as I leave my room I have a mask on, kind of sad to have to wear one in the house but ah, I'd rather not be sick.

Thankfully my boss is incredible, I felt so bad calling her after she left. Our cases here in TN are not great, so I'm sure she's been expecting it sooner or later

They could've put not only my husband and I at risk, but also all of my coworkers as well, and that is just completely unacceptable.
