A note on autobuys

Please do not autobuy my adopts if you cannot pay right away. This isn't fun for me. This is how I pay rent, bills, get food for myself and my pets, I depend on this money.
I do not do holds, I do not do payment plans. Etc.
I've had 2 people this week say they were going to autobuy my work then back out, thats incredibly hard on me, especially right now when people simply are not buying adopts like usual.

I'm sorry you have to deal with this. Your TOS are pretty explicitly laid out for that, imo. And you always have payment must be received within X time on your work. Can't be more cut and dry. Good for you for standing up for yourself, though! People need to hold up their end of the deal, or not make the deal.

That's always annoying. For both the artist and the person who was trying to bid what they could. The latter because they'll end up spending that money, only to realize they still had a chance. That happened to me recently >_<; Sorry you gotta deal with that.

a lot of people have been backing out on adopts recently,,,seriously if u cant afford it at that moment dont bid

I noticed a lot of people are ghosting/backing out on commissions and adopts lately. Ive had a few people, one of which did it twice, ghost me on commissions. A friend has had multiple people doing it to them as well. Kind of sucks that people try to promise money they dont have, just to get other peoples hopes up.
