So recently I watched this video by AntDude:

One of the games he played was a game called Woodle Tree which looked like a bear bones and not very good version of Super Mario 3D World. But then he spoke about its sequel and didn't have a lot of very negative thing to say about the game. Since I rather enjoyed the look of the game I decided to give it a try. I just beat it, haven't gotten 100% yet but I just wanna share my thoughts on this game.
It's a rather enjoyable game if I do say so myself.
Basically it's like an open world collectathon. Basically there are 8 majors areas in the game, with 3 specific items to collect in each area. Getting all 24 of these items it unlocks the final boss fight. So it's a very simple and rather easy game, but once you beat the first area you are permitted to go to any of the remaining 7 areas in any order you want. So it's a nice open game to let you just go at it in any order you please.
Furthermore once you are in those areas though the game guides you to the next major collectable again you can get them in any order you wish. There were times I was going off of the beaten path A LOT doing some weird platforming, and yet I ended up at one of the major collectables. It was rather satisfying getting these collectables in this way.
Now obviously the game isn't without its flaws. The framerate can be fairly choppy, which in turn leads to button inputs being eaten, so some times a jump will not jump.
The combat is very simple and doesn't really have much depth to it.
The hitboxes and collision detection of things can be a little wonky at times. And example, there are insta-kill spikes and puddles, and sometimes it doesn't LOOK like they are touching you, but you still die.
As I have been trying to find the last of the collectables I have been running around the whole world, this leads to the game loading in the areas I was nearing, and this unfortunately led to crashes...
But despite those flaws I rather enjoyed the game as whole. Since the game isn't excessively hard the problems are merely gripes.
If you want a simple open world collectathon that at least on Switch is on sale I would recommend this game. Of course it's on other platforms so if you prefer it on there again I recommend. Don't go in expecting a 10/10 game, but as something to just play and enjoy I have bought worse "triple A" games.

FA+

Other than that, it was nice. The enemies and scenario were something I'd expect from a Kirby game, and I love that series, so it was a fun experience.
I did love the character designs in this game, there were some good ones.
