"Here's an idea.
One night I was so bored I actually ended up writing a top-10 fictional characters of my personal favorites.
AND I CHALLENGE YOU ALL TO DO THE SAME!
For the fun of it.
(Drop the name of the character, show/place they appear - and a little explanation why you like them - also if possible a little picture of what they look like.)"
I have way way many other favorites, but I tried my best.
10.
Abe Sapien
-Hellboy
http://i85.photobucket.com/albums/k.....ehound/abe.jpg
I've always liked those slightly tragic intellectual characters that don't fit in for some reason. And fish men aren't really that usual as part of the main cast in comics. Not to mention that fact that he used to be a human makes me like him even more.
9.
Spock
-Star Trek
http://i85.photobucket.com/albums/k...../spock_tmp.jpg
Baaack in the day, in the year 2000 when I still watched television,
I had a habit of watching the 60's series of Star Trek (that's 21th century entertainment for you) even though I never actually liked the show that much, but I liked Spock so I watched it.
He goes pretty well in the same mold as Abe, a different intellectual.
8.
Mask
-The Mask movie/cartoon
http://i85.photobucket.com/albums/k.....und/masssk.jpg
He's the epitome of crazy and groovy, and a good dancer too.
I love the way he's overdone, a cartoon in a real world.
7.
Wesley Dodds/Sandman
-Sandman Mystery Theatre
http://i85.photobucket.com/albums/k.....ndmanDodds.jpg
No, not the Marvel criminal or the Gaiman's Morpheus, Wesley Dodds is the ORIGINAL Sandman revisited.
He's just a normal guy with a hint of night-time mystery, and he has glasses. And a spiffy old-time gasmask.
And he's a tormented intellectual-- what is going on here?
6.
Hulk/Bruce Banner
http://i85.photobucket.com/albums/k.....lk-od-2003.jpg
A tormented intellectu--OH MY GOD AGAIN. Anyway as a kid I always felt for Bruce and I also tend to love misunderstood monsters. Besides he's green, and green is cool.
5.
The Shadow
http://i85.photobucket.com/albums/k...../theshadow.jpg
He's a man! And a shadow!(though not exactly) And he knows what evil lurks in the heart of men!
When I saw him the first time as a kid in the (corny and bad) movie, he was so awesome to me, evil yet in the side of good with a awesome coat, hat, scarf and laugh he was the ultimate badassery!
I like the comics too, though. He's also the character that has inspired me most with my own characters.
4.
Pyramidhead
-Silent Hill 2/movie
http://i85.photobucket.com/albums/k.....ramidhead1.jpg (nsfw/gore)
I don't think this needs much explaining.
3.
Sirenu
-Devilman
http://i85.photobucket.com/albums/k.....und/sirenu.jpg (nsfw/boobs)
One of the rare female characters I really like. Strong and cunning (with orignal design) without coming off as a bitch, and in the end she did it for the honour of love *wipes tear*
2.
The Creeper
http://i85.photobucket.com/albums/k...../creeper-1.jpg
He's that sort of character that you either hate or love, and I love every bit of his awful costume and (almost) every version of him. He's unreliable, impossible to predict, seen as a criminal or as a monster. Not to mention that Jack Ryder is one smooth and sneaky dude too, not afraid to step toes for the truth and good!
1.
Predator
http://i85.photobucket.com/albums/k...../predator1.jpg
He's monstrous, yet very human-like, you can almost understand their feelings but not quite. Muscles, dreads, awesome helmet and the mood to just kick your ass!

Also: Yay Abe Sapien and The Mask. I love those two so much.
And I would definitely take you as a Creeper fan. ^^
