Getting into the spirit with spirits!

If you tell me my feet stink, I’ll hold them against you... 😏
Happy Jolly Burglar Month!!! 😁😁😁
It feels like everything’s simultaneously grinding to a halt, and yet speeding towards the finish line. I’m looking forward to the end of this gong show of a year but at the same time, I want to try and get into the holiday spirit this year by not only setting up my Christmas village, but also getting started on some homemade liqueurs.
About 2 years ago, I came across a small, hand-typed book at a roadside bookstand on a small island. In it, it details a little under 60 different recipes for making your own fruit/herbal liqueurs ranging from Cherry Brandy and Peach Liqueur to Green Tomato Liqueur and Moka (similar to Kahlua) that can take as little as 5 minutes to make (Irish Cream) or up to almost 2 years (Green Grape Vermouth). Each recipe is fairly simple, all it really takes is time and patience. I try to stick to the recipes under 1 month, but there are a ton of long-term ones I want to try.
This year, I plan on doing Cranberry, Blueberry and Irish Cream liqueurs for friends and family. At some point, I want to see if I can maybe start a side business of making small batches for folks to enjoy. I’d need to look into the logistics of it, but it’d be cool to sell some. Not to toot my own horn, but I’ve had quite a few people tell me my Irish Cream is better than Bailey’s... 😳
I’m still going to be posting feet stuff... eventually. 😅 I’ve been swamped with life stuff for a while, but I’m going to be trying to get some WIP stories finished and uploaded soon. Eventually I wanna draw some more Skunky art too. But more than likely, there’ll be drinks first.
