So, it's kinda crazy that I have to make this sort of PSA.
If for some reason you approach me [or anyone else for that matter] with the idea to do a 'duo commission', note that it's kind of a strange situation when you start talking about it being your character + mine, and you start talking about 'you're paying for your half!'... Of course, that's to be expected. It's just gets a bit surreal and strange when you continue with ' I'll do the art, so you just pay for your half'
This is no longer a duo commission where there are 'halves' to split. This is you, as an artist, approaching -me- to hire you to do art that just happens to have your character in it.
This is not necessarily a bad thing. However, it is a bit of a weird way to go about it, if I wanted to hire you I probably would've sought you out and asked not the other way around.
Secondly, when I explain how unfamiliar / unsure I am about the situation.. Perhaps it's in your best interest not to jump to wild conclusions and start slinging accusations because you happened to misread what was sent. And when I politely try to make amends and explain what I was trying to say in a more comprehensive way, maybe don't call me a liar, and start insulting my art collection as " Cheap copycat YCH art ", and calling me "mean and rude" when you're the one slinging insults, again over a misunderstanding.
Just something to consider, especially if -you- are trying to convince others to hire -you- to have -their- character in -your- art. [Oh, then slinging more insults before blocking me while I'm still responding reasonably <3 ]
Thanks for coming to my cat-talk.

FA+

This is aimed at a very specific person who rife with cowardice and immaturity blocked me mid conversation after slinging insults. You definitely aren't that person <3
