I don't know why I even bother opening commissions. I'm not as skilled as anyone else, and people would rather spend $100s on bigger ones than supporting small artists
The thing is, you gotta know you are good in terms of quality and price before jumping on taking commissions.
Sure people would rather throw big bucks towards to more know artists. Though don’t let that discourage you! If anything, use it as fuel to drive yourself to improve and work harder.
That's not at all what I'm saying. What I'm saying is, where you are right now may not be where you or others would rather be at. It's a beginning step. What I'm trying to tell you is, be ambitious, but understand the road to being more well known takes time.
