What could be behind my art block
I think I've just been getting tired of overthinking things when making the sketches for my artwork. I tend to draw without using a lot of references; figure things out on my own. Though I take pride in being able to do that, I think the perfection stress of having to do all the pose, angle and proportions myself when I just want to draw a simple image of a new character or something's starting to get to me... I think I might do more images that result from sketches drawn over a reference image. What do you think about that?
I think you should try and think of something kinda simple and work your way through there (with a reference from time to time if you're having some difficulty trying to think of what to draw)
If I were to use a reference image the most I'd go for when using figures is the pose, and even then I try to modify the pose in such a way that I'm not stealing it in a way
