I'm gonna be optimistic, too!

I think it'll be about the same, if not worse. being optimistic is like getting yourself hyped for a new video game or movie only for the game or movie to fail to meet expectations. If you set the bar low, it's more likely to exceed expectations. I know that probably sounds dumb. lol

On the one hand yes, it's best not to get my hopes up. But on the other I cannot go through each year with this mentality.
I gotta have some speck of hope left.

I know... I'm just dealing with a lot right now, and it's making it hard for me to be optimistic. I could go into greater detail, but I doubt people want to listen to me complain. lol.

I managed to thanks to Netherlands having an exception to the travel ban for couples. But yes for everyone else not in my situation I hope you all can too. xx

Honestly, I think the reason we had to put up with 2020 was because some dumbass chased an 89 year old man.

Life isn't going back to normal until late 2022 or early 2023
