Has the Covid superseded Cancer as being "The big C"?

I'd gotten sick twice in 2020. first one I'm pretty sure was "The Light Beer Virus" way back in february, 104.6F and kicked my big fat fluffy butt for three days, loss of smelling, taste muted, shortness of breath, all the good stuff (read as BAD symptoms).
then again in october, BARELY over 100 (most likely NOT the 'lite beer virus'), not even 18 hours (one lost day of work) and I was FINE... till I tried to go back to work. Forced to take an additional UNPAID 72 hours off.
it really hurts to loose a weeks pay.

so yeah, getting sick SUCKS. keep hydrated, stay warm and comfortable, and get better kitty (headpats)

Oh if only we could be anime characters were getting sick is shaken off in a few hours. Unless you cough up blood. Easy diagnosis.

I was sick a few weeks ago my self. No idea how or why. could have been the coof or the regular flu. Hope you do get better.
