SCP 2021 progress

Since people keep asking me on when the next update for my two games I figured I will post a recent reply on my itch.io account regarding the next SCP update and do a short write up on the DQ RPG project that got put on ice.

"We plan to have (the next update) out in the 1st quarter of 2021 or in April. 2020 made things difficult for us, but there is a lot going on for that project in the background.
Keep in mind the game is still a single programmer/designer effort and the artists do other works to stay relevent.
In the background I am working on better stage scripting and improved enemy AI that will allow better levels & make boss fights a thing.
There is also work on a nice save system, an improved inventory/skill system as well as animated text effects and of course the upcoming 15.ai improvements for dialogue.
We also want to add a good bit of new pixel art, art for cutscenes and we want to touch up some of the old art."
---As for my neglected Depravity Quest Project---
The project will stay on hold for the early part of 2021 as I keep underestimating the continued cult success of SCP and I got over-ambitious in a few areas with the alpha 3 overhaul.
You can (and should) still play the vastly overlooked and free Sunny Paws parody turned into a Halloween side game here: https://hodgepodgedl.itch.io/spoopy.....epravity-quest. And I did update in the art cloud share with a new art-piece by Nieve in the "bosses" folder.
I would like to add that I am still willing to consider picking up DQ again in the near future if a fellow C# programmer is actually willing to help with said project. But, I'm extremely doubtful that will happen.
