A quick update for those wondering where I have been: I have had to relocate to an entirely different state to escape from a domestic violence situation with my blood family. But right now, that's not the issue I am writing about here.
One of my new friends, who I will refer to as Anne Shirley, who is helping me in my new home state is going through a crisis of her own. Anne's good friend, Tony was involved in a very bad car accident last week. He has been in ICU in a hospital in Reno, Nevada since then, and Tony's next of Kin, Kimmy is the only one there for him. She drove all the way from North California for him. Tony is estranged from his family, and Kimmy is the only one there for him. She's legally his next of kin. Tony's life is literally hanging by a thread right now.
Now, things have gone into Mad Max: Fury Road mode...
Tony's estranged and embittered daughter has somehow heard of what happened, and has butted in. She has blocked everyone else off from seeing and caring for Tony, including Kimmy. Kimmy needs a mobile legal Notary to help her override the daughter's request. Otherwise, Tony is going to die in that hospital, alone.
Tony does not deserve this... He is a good person, and has helped Anne and Kimmy many times in the past, and they have returned the favor.
