A question regarding commissions;

regarding what you guys are looking for, which do you prefer more?
1. Fast 'n cheap; ($25-$40 range) Nothing too complex, you just need a quick fix or just wanna see your character in my style
2. Similar to what's going on now ($50-$80 range) Just stay the course on what I currently offer
3. Deluxe and more ($120+ range) Stuff that has more detail with rendering, backgrounds, maybe even something slightly animated like the method for those League of Legends login screens

Fast&cheap would be of no interest to me. The current style is fine, but an option to get scene commissions with more detailed renders and backgrounds would be nice.
Animation is not important to me. I don't mind it when it is offered, but I don't seek it out for commissions.
The third option while good i wouldn't be able to afford given the money I currently make but still a interesting option
How much mental drain is your creativity? At a certain point even fast and cheap start being more taxing to you than they're worth if you have to be filling out so much of the outfit yourself.
The sheer diversity of fitting unique things to such a range of characters in a range of designs is why I watch you, so there's always a vote towards ensuring you have breathing comfort to express yourself there even if it puts things out of my mental itch range.
Though suggesting the existence of fast and cheap, this does prompt a thought.. Would you consider doing sketch pages style things? Either a montage of crops modeling one outfit or letting you sketch through a themed wardrobe on a character across a pose or three.
Personally I'd float between 1 or 2, with a lean towards 1. Also i like how you work fast and it's enjoy able to still see the characters in your style.
But no harm in doing option 3 as I know some people like a little more detail.
I think the current works well.
but those're my thoughts as a whole, hope it helps with a bit of insight from others.
keep on keepin on man
All goes for my Currency Exchange rates tbh as I don't earn in USD.
Then 2 is pretty much what's going on now
And 3 is the big commissions with a few characters and a big background, also Classic Commissions
You could have different slot levels based on those categories you provided per month. It's just a suggestion. I hope it's useful in some way.
1 Deluxe Slot
4 quality colored sketches
8 Fast N' Cheap sketches
So for example doing a month of Fast 'n Cheap if you happen to be busier IRL; that way the people who can't afford much can get what they want and it can save you time. The next month, amp it up to 2 when you have a bit more free time or need more money. Finally do a month (maybe only a few months out of the year) where your schedule is mostly free, so you can do the Deluxe commissions and satisfy those looking for the best quality of your work.
(IE Fast 'n Cheap=More Free Time, Less money for each Piece, Higher Availability, Less Quality)
(Medium=Average Free Time, Average Money, Average Availability, Average Quality)
(Deluxe=Less Free Time, More Money, Less Availability, High Quality)
Of course it wouldn't have to be a month by month basis, that was more or less just an example. But by focusing a particular amount of time to one of those options, you can settle on a solid set of commissions that will satisfy that particular audience, and I bet it'll help manage your IRL time better too; seeing as to how you'll know how much time each category will take roughly.
As a bonus, after doing that pattern for a little while, you'll get a much better idea about which category people want to commission you from. Essentially you can use this as a test period to see where your viewer base lies.
So if you went three periods doing one option each time (so three times Fast and Cheap, three times Medium, three times Deluxe), you can tally up the amount you earned and the amount of people commissioning from you, do a little math, and figure out the best bang for your buck as well as customer satisfaction.
(IE; Total Amount Earned from a specific catagory during each time period, then you would total that specific catagory through ALL time periods. After that you would take the amount of commissioners and do the same processess. Once you have those numbers, you can either do math (I really wish I could give you the algebra for it, but math and me have a beef), or you can take those raw numbers and compare them to the other catagories.)
Plus, variety is the spice of life! I'm sure that, like me, the people that aren't commissioning would love to see variety works from yah, and it'll be better for you too. By doing things this way, you'll give yourself more control over what art you're doing at what time, while at the same time satisfying your audience. Outside of that, best of luck and I hope whichever option you choose (mine or anyone else's recommendations) prove to be satisfactory for yah. :3
Even so, sometimes I like to go all-in on a high-quality cool idea too. I think having all options available would be best, if it's feasible. 'Fast and cheap' for a quick, simple pic, super deluxe for going above and beyond, and the middle ground too.
