Pretty good

That last drawing (https://www.furaffinity.net/view/40181936/) was pretty fun. Like I said in the desc, I like the BG. Would have been too plain otherwise, probably a gradient or pattern. But I like props and stuff. Supposed to be a computer console with monitors but they kinda look like windows. Haha.
The original document says I saved it around 4:47 PM and I posted it around midnight. So yeah, broadly I'd say it took me maybe three to six hours to work it. Took lots of breaks, usually between each major step.
I mentioned in the desc edit that I spotted some flaws. Those arise due to a bit of a bad habit where I make hasty changes during the final sketch without considering everything else. Move a couple of lines to one side and it can potentially throw a bunch of other things off. Pff. :0
That aside I like the speed. Seems reasonable. And I didn't fiddle too long with making everything look absolutely "perfect." Sometimes I fuck around too much with hands or whatever and it can eat up 20 - 30 minutes multiple times, putting me in a bit of an awful mood because it's tedious and unproductive. But as I continue to practice that becomes less of an issue. So while I may have issues now and then with hands for example I'm still vastly better at drawing them than I used to be which means vastly less wasted time.
Time is such a hugely valuable resource.
No video games right now, though I dip into Beat Saber once or twice a day for a bit of cardio after work or during art breaks on my days off. Bailed on my obligations to friends by just sorta signing out of discord. Can't deal with the distraction. I feel guilty and frustrated when I don't draw or work on stuff, though now I feel a bit guilty for just up and vanishing. >.>
Not the ideal approach but I had to do something to get my ass in gear. :u
Working on a few diff things. I figure this visual novel project will be a good lead-in to further work on the RPG Maker thing.
Still need to figure out the design of the warrior. Was thinking human but I might do something a little different. Not sure yet. Not a huge rush at the moment and I can easily use a placeholder if I feel like knuckling down for a bit. That said I still haven't actually started any actual work on the VN proper. I'm using TyranoBuilder which seems perfect for my purposes. Based on its capabilities and limitations I was able to make a basic notepad outline for the entire game from start to finish, minus the script. Thought I'd fuss with that as I went and refine it as the project develops.
My immediate concern is the basic assets or placeholders. Some backgrounds, characters, maybe some music. SFX will come later.
Should be a snap. Might poke around at it tonight after dinner.
Figure it'll be about an hour in length with some dialogue choices leading to bad ends. Not sure how obvious I want them to be especially since people are all into totally different things. Considered obvious hints in dialogue or maybe having a content warning or.. something. Not sure yet.
But yeah, pretty basic gameplay-wise. Not exactly solving a mystery, using items, or completing puzzles. Just some chit chat and vore in a fantasy setting.
That's my jam, baby.
