Okay I'm gonna try to keep this pro gun journal short by focusing only on this one anti-gun quote as opposed to the billions of reasons people should be pro gun.
The argument for more gun control and less guns as well as types of guns goes something like this, "What about my right to life? My right not to get shot? My right to walk at the mall without having to worry about bullets?"
There's so much wrong with this argument:
1. It implies gun ownership is contradictory to the right to life which makes no damn sense. Everybody has a right to life at least until they're severely guilty of wrong doing. No pro gun viewpoint is contradicting this right or ignoring it. Pro gun gun owners and pro gun non gun owners that hope to own one some day (Your truly for example) as well as plain pro gun non gun owners acknowledge that everyone innocent has the right to life.
2. It implies gun ownership is an act against life, NO IT ISN'T! Owning an object even that of a weapon isn't an initiation of force/violence! Using that weapon against an innocent person is sure, but just owning one or using it against a sufficiently guilty person is not an initiation of violence!
3. It implies your insecurities about guns trump people's rights to be able to own them. NO THEY DON'T! Just because you're unnerved by guns and ammo doesn't mean you have the right to get men and women in suits to either take them away and/or impede/reduce the ability to get more. Insecurity never trumps rights!
If you have the right to own something it doesn't matter how scared people are of it you go ahead and get it since IT'S YOUR RIGHT.
It's important to just let people protect themselves rather than be swayed by virtue signaling, false and emotional arguments!
And here are some stats to back up the notion that defending and exercising the right to bear arms is something truly worth doing!

I know I've been going on and on about how we have the right to own whatever weapons we want and government is bad and how these social issues need more action by more people to blah blah blah.
But I felt the need to write yet another journal such as this because tyranny, stupidity, and inaction still go on so I want try and make the opposite happen with freedom, intelligence and proactiveness!

If we could about it somewhere else that'd be great or maybe you don't want to mention it at all.
