The Deal with Commissions...
Hey, so I haven't made a journal in a while, but I felt the need to address the long list of commissions I currently have dating back to last Summer...
When COVID-19 hit, my wife and I both lost our jobs basically. I was working for 2 years at a tutoring center and she had only been working for 3 months at a salon supply store. Things were going decently around that time, until we got laid off. I had about 2 months of classes left in the semester, and we got our first stimulus checks shortly after, so I waited a little while before opening any commissions to make ends meet. She found a new part-time job in May of 2020 and I decided to do art full-time. Unfortunately, this was my first time taking on so many commissions as a source of income, it helped pay the bills at first, but then the expenses were stacking higher than the amount of money we were both making, then in the middle of Summer they basically cut her hours to nothing, on top of that, my wife was (and still is) suffering from very severe mental health problems.
To put it plain and simple the two of us have not been doing great since COVID hit, we've lost our jobs, been forced to get on food stamps to afford groceries, been hired and laid off all over again, struggle to pay bills and rent every month, our apartment has been bug infested for over a year now, and I can't even get my degree because none of the classes I need to graduate are available. On top of all that, I have a big list of commissions that prevent me from taking more... I'm trying little by little, but I am just so drained, I have so much trouble being able to finish one all the way through right now... I'm not saying that I'm giving up on these commissions, I'm just trying to explain why they're taking so long.
I'm willing to update anyone still waiting on the progress or lack of, but if you want a refund... I want to offer it, but we have less than $100 to our name right now, and I don't know when things we'll be getting better.
So please, I ask all of you waiting to be patient just a while longer, I am working on them, but we're struggling so hard to draw right now...

I'm hoping to get around to it very soon
Not much has changed unfortunately, but I have at least been finding time to make it through the queue a little at a time.
I'm sorry for such a long wait, I hope to have it ready rather soon...
