I just wish this terrible pandemic was over

no shit man! the sad truth is as long as there is unchecked spread... really anywhere in the world... the virus will get a chance to mutate and become more dangerous. we have a vaccine, but the poor handling of this virus by most of the human societies will likely result in the virus getting enough time to find a way around the vaccine and eventually make it inert and we have to redevelop it yet again and the cycle continues....

It keeps ongoing and i'm sick of it, I hate not being able to walk around freely without having to worry about wearing a mask, and damn man i hate how foolish and ignorant these people are that won't listen or care about how deadly the virus is

no shit i had to deal with that yesterday there was a woman (middle aged white one of course) at the grocery store who had no mask on, i asked her about it and she just blew me off so i shouted "its for the safety of all of us". I talked to a few store employees but they literally said they ddint care. These anit-mask people think they are special than the rest of us. like theyre somehow a true american patriot because they are so defiant about wearing a mask that its such a big intrusion on their personal liberty. They have no idea what its like to experience TRUE oppression like millions of other less fortunate people have! theyre so used to just being able to do anything they want at any time even the most petty and pointless things. Privileged middle class whites are pretty used to just havign their place at the forefront of society that any little thing even a medically necessary wearing of a surgical mask is downright total government takeover to them

Yeah and people who don't follow the rules and obligatory laws bother me dude

Well, if your brother is convinced that fair elections are actually illegitimate, he probably won't choose to vote any more. That just gives more power to the side he doesn't like! If he chooses to separate from society, and live in his car, and hoard guns, he's probably making himself less appealing to most women. His own choices will make his world worse.

My dad is on that same Rush Limbaugh/Donald Trump path, where everything is a conspiracy theory, and all Democrats are cannibals and pedophiles! The only news he ever watches on TV is Fox News, and he listens to extreme right conspiracy radio broadcasts all the time. My dad won't even go into a Chinese restaurant, because he says they're putting stuff in the food to control people, and that you can get Covid from it! Where on Earth do people even think this stuff up!? Half my family refuses to wear masks, and constantly travel across state lines for unimportant reasons.

Unfortunately, it's not easy to un-brainwash people, once they've gone extreme. A big problem with extremism is that the mental doors are closed and locked to anyone with different views.

I pray that we will be in a better place with each passing year. But, we certainly went backward at full throttle for the past four! :(

yeh man ive had nightmares about the fact that i feel like im living in a wolrd where msot people are believign angels and demons fighting are behind all the worlds events and that scientists and doctors are par tof the deep state enemy... we actually have anti maskers in the netherlands attack a hospital in their rage against lockdowns! theser people were so used to livign at the top of free society and having all these privleges, now the prospect that they cant go to a Dennys to eat or having to be made to wear a mask is such an egregious infringement of their human rights that they invent all kinds of psychotic mayhem about communist secret agents and demonic possession as the cause of all that. they have NO IDEA what real suppression of freedom is about or like!

The really sad thing is that no matter how much you or I obey the rules, wear masks, stop being close to people outside our own house, and all the other things that science, and common sense, tell us to do, there's that entire third of our population who will have no part in that. So, we end up getting sick, or being at higher risk because of them. I wear masks, and avoid being close to people to protect them, as well as myself. It's actually more to protect them. My dad is 80, and keeps wanting to visit and go places, and I have to keep saying no. He's at the age where getting the virus is a lot more risky than if I get it. I also have some disabled friends who have very compromised immune systems. I stay away from them for their sake.

Sadly, there are plenty of assholes out there who don't care about anyone but themselves. They simply don't care about other people enough to wear a mask. To this day, some people I know are still insisting that Covid is a hoax started by Liberals to intentionally make Trump look bad! Yet, they'll often be the first ones to push others out of the way to get themselves vaccinated when it's available!

Most people in he US have not experienced true suppression of freedom. Having one's FA, Twitter or Facebook taken away isn't suppression. It's almost always a site acting on their acceptable use policy, which someone chose to violate. Having to wear a mask isn't suppression, yet some people treat it as such. being in a state of lockdown because of a pandemic isn't suppression, but I've seen countless people compare it to being worse than prison. It's not even close. Even people who are quarantined for 14 days can still choose when to go to bed, when to wake up, what to watch on their TV, what to do on their computer, how often to call someone on their phone, what and when to eat, whether to masturbate, and what to wear. They should try experiencing any or all of those freedoms in actual prison, or even in countries where suppression is from the government!

I hope they see the error of their ways, but if they don't I hope they just stay far away from you. Hopefully they'll come round, and at least trump's not in power anymore ^_^
