Isn't FA enough?
I disagree that FA is dying. I do agree it's fun to spread your art far and wide, though hard to maintain.
Multiple accounts in multiple places makes for more attention. Perhaps a person who's never seen your art before could stumble upon it on a different site. Limiting yourself to one limits your viewers.
Plus this has a fun blog thing. :P
Oh, well, they did say it was temporary.
