Hmmm I can understand context, although a title and good tags can often do that i feel! I think countless years of RP burnout might have dulled my edge a little haha

Like fallout said, it's definitely good for context. And sometimes it's fun to write descriptions with a bit of teasing, well, descriptions.

I do agree that when you catch that wind it can be amazing writing something teasing. I mean you ask anyone who knows me and it's probably (one of) my more defining features haha, i'm just no longer sure it's worth straining myself over a lot of the time.

Teasing is just fun in general. Typically I'm too lazy or overanalyze to write "detailed" descriptions though. But they're always a wonderful touch.

I feel the need to add a little description. Even if it’s a few words.

I feel it really helps encourage people to hit that “fav” button or comment in response to what you put in the description.

Most importantly I think it’s always needed you at least credit the artist and list who is in the image.

Well i suppose i should clarify, by no description i more mean just a link to the artist or people involved. And if you could see my post stats i'm not sure a hefty description assists much in the faving haha.

I tend to read them. A good description can really set the mood for a piece! Plus it can deliver context that might be lost on just an image.

Hmmm, sometimes i do like to leave things ambiguous, that can also help in it's own way!

Honestly, I actually really like descriptions
It can give the person posting so much personality! Having something to say and maybe a short little story sometimes can really add a lot, and encourage people to comment too! It’s not everything of course, but it can help for sure to make a little community and the like ^^

I like descriptions! It shows effort put into not just the art, but the background and story in the art. I like to read that on most images.

Context in desc is always fun, I often will read the stories and stuff associated with a picture. Though when it comes down to me I just don't really write anything <v<
