Photoshop lag again

Hi all, my laptop's fan has stopped working and now all of a sudden photoshop's brushes are lagging badly, is this due to the broken fan? And if so how can i fix this, whether it be the fan or the lag

I have this happen once in a while too and it usually corrects itself if I wait or put my computer into sleep mode for a few minutes. But if you can find an actual solution, let me know because it is infuriating!

Could be. Overheating can cause slowdown of components. I would suggest going to a local electronics shop to get your laptop’s insides cleaned. Could be a lot of dust clogging the fan
