i was just thinking about how i don't blog much anymore since i deleted tumblr way back when and i honestly miss it. being able to post and update about my day and chit chat with messages/comments. it was a lot of fun when it all didn't cause me anxiety.

just wanted to kick back and giggle at the current FA image outage. I took a moment to look through recent submissions and reply back to comments! Mostly just ty's but it was super nice to read all the messages again and make my heart flutter. real good feels.

was thinking i'll just post a generic fa journal and wish you all some good vibes and to let you all know I'm grateful you follow my artwork, give me favorites, and even go to the trouble of leaving me comments occasionally! It really brightens my day to log into FA and look at new art or upload my backlog. And I always feel excited to see a new comment here on FA. So thanks for always being so kind and supportive here, it's been a tremendous help lately.

not a lot, there's a nasty cold spike IRL here and it's affecting my health pretty badly. i can hardly walk around my house without great pain in my legs/hips. my hands now look like... well you know what lego people hands look like? Just a C shape? That's pretty much all i got left on my hands. No grip strength, immense pain if you apply pressure anywhere on them. just been a real downer of a time. >:C keeps me from writing or drawing as much as i'd like too. I am doing stretches, resting everyday, and treating myself. But only so much you can do with chronic illness that's unmedicated. I hope I can get that darn vaccine soon so I can see my doctors again TT 0TT; i'm so sick of being re-crippled.

ignoring the bad health shit, i've been enjoying finding my confidence and love in my own artwork and self made items. I've been really trying hard to focus on the love of making artwork and discovering each new character/art piece as they happen. it's been kinda magical each time i get to draw lately since i have so little spoons! Even if it's bad artwork it doesn't matter im just giddy to play on the tablet and make lines/colors. i can just make bad shit to redo later when im physically well again and be okay with that. and im just excited to work on it more and get more ideas for it instead of guilting and shaming myself into a burnout. so that's all been really amazing and i'm enjoying my art so much <3

i think when quarantine is over i am going to start running a local art jam meet and just push people to make stuff during that session ^ w^ it would make me so happy to share this creative joy with people and hang out while we draw/write/craft/whatever! I'd love to start art jams online but just physically not well enough to manage anything atm, so i'll just have to drool and dream about it in the mean time.

I am having soooooo much fun, i still have a bundle of NPCs i gotta draft up but my hands withered up before i got to finish sketching. >:/ hmph. but next spoons i get imma try to draw a couple more~ all this background / world building really helps me think about the ocs in existence and make up stories or headcanons of them on the fly!
