Patreon Poll and Meme Money
My next poll is up on Patreon - pick your caudal appendage of choice for an upcoming tail-focused sequence! Alligator, kitsune, shark, cat or raccon?
Also, on an entirely different note...
Being the weird online culture enthusiast that I am, I have set up a shiny new Dogecoin wallet, so the approximately 0.1 per cent of you who know what the hype is all about can now tip me with basically worthless Reddit crypto if you are so inclined. The address will be included on my profile from now on, and who knows... Dank memes might be the currency of the future!
(Spoiler: They probably won't be, but a man can still dream)

Quite frankly, I do not expect it to be going anywhere, but it is fun to watch.
As you might know, it was originally developed as both a joke and a means for tipping content creators on Reddit. I wonder if the latter use will become more commonplace once the hype has died down. Personally, I would love to see crypto eventually establishing itself as an actual form of alternative currency, rather than just a gambling tool for speculators.
I didn't actually know that it was created as a way to tip people, that's interesting! I honestly don't see crypto becoming a mainline currency for a while; it's much too volatile and the lack of something to back it would mean that it would have to be recognized by pretty much everyone. It would certainly be neat, though.
