Update 6: The Rebloodening

It’s been a long while since I’ve posted a journal, so perhaps an update is in order…
With the onset of winter, I’ve been obsessed with increasing my art production. Normally, I’d be doing prop or costume work in preparation for various cons or events, but -with the plague still ongoing and my new garage workshop not being heated- things have been slow on that front. So, I’m trying to do more furry art to stay productive. I hit a bit of a speed bump when I caught COVID-19 in early December, but I managed to shake it without any long-term issues. I’ve also started working on things during lunchbreaks at work, but it’s tricky as my subject matter isn’t particularly public-friendly…
In any case, I’m super excited about the Year Of The Ox. It’s got me motivated to really ramp-up my rate of output, and I’ve got a few cow-based works planned. Things will be pretty udder-centric this year -if I can find the extra time to get art done. There might be a bit of a lull as I prep for an airsoft event in March.
I’ll be uploading some doodles and unfinished work to scraps, maybe you guys can give me a kick in the ass to get them done. Lol. I’m also considering doing more requested works (I know
thermite123 has had some really appealing ideas).
I’m working on finally getting a proper ref. sheet put together for Masha. My goal is to get all my OC’s references done by the end of the year. Smash’s will probably be redone at some point as well -I’ve been drawing him differently over the last few years and he’s overdue for an update.
I finally got a Twitter backup account set up for FA downages. Existing content will be slowly migrating over that way, but don’t expect a ton of Twitter-exclusive works. I’m trying to use Twitter posts like galleries which should also make sequential pieces easier to parse (I gotta add nav. controls to my FA stuff at some point -at least on the “Bambi’s Got Back” sequence). I meant to do a COVID update journal, but the head fog made sitting at the computer obnoxious. I got lucky and must’ve caught a weaker version, it wasn’t great but could’ve been a lot worse. It put me down for about a week and a half.
I’ll browse some comments and shoot you a note on ideas.
