This week has been my Spring Break. And I've only really been able to spend it in peace for the past three days. And it's all thanks to the quiet solitude of Olmstead, IL.

My grandparents have lived in Olmstead all their lives, and still own a small house there with plenty of rolling farmland around it. Now, call me crazy, but I find it a very nice spot to spend a few days. Sure, there's not another living soul for at least a mile in any given direction, but the scenery and the peacefulness at that place is positively incredible. To me, the quiet atmosphere and the beauty of nature slowly coming back to life after winter is quite possibly the most relaxing thing I've ever felt in my entire life. No better place to see it than a place where the seasons determine worktime and leisurely days.

I came back today about two hours ago, and I feel completely refreshed. I'm living proof that roadtrips are not the only way to spend a great Spring Break.
