Man....... I did a Windows 10 update today- on one of my desktops; (by upgrading from one older Windows 10 version- to the newest one)- and, yo..... it took me nearly *four hours*- (the entire morning)- to finish the whole freaking job.
Not to mention removing the older Windows 10 version (by manual disk clean up) because the Windows system will store the older version automatically on the hard drive; and- making sure I had enough disk space to complete the upgrade; and.... most essentially: making sure all of the files (and programs) on that particular machine weren't affected in any serious way.
Goodness - what a hassle.
But, thankfully...... we only have to do this once (or twice) a year, on average..... and so, (at least)- this one machine will be set for now.
Amazingly- I wasn't flustered (or annoyed) by any of this, this morning...... but- don't start asking me today about my laptop and my other desktops though.
