*How long have you been in the community?
Lordy, since 1995 officially (when I created my FurryMUCK character), but longer UN-officially. It's all Doug's fault!
*How did you find furry?
Like a lot of things, it's hard to trace my earliest influences, but my formal introduction was some of the great Doug Winger's art back in the usenet days.
*What's your reason for furry (what interested you to get into the community)?
Sex, in large part. And NOT fursuits. They're cool and all, but really don't interest me much. I like the art, and stories, and contribute when I can.
*What's Furry to you?
Difficult question to answer. In part, it represents freedom, by hybridizing with animal traits, from the deplorable human condition.
*If someone found out you're a furry and asked you about it how would you respond?
The answer would depend on the person, but generally I'd be honest and positive about the fandom. Despite the negative press, there ARE positive things about Furry!
*What are your favorite aspects of our community?
Art! Stories! Freedom and open-mindedness (sometimes).
*Do you use any furry terms? (i.e. yiff, paws, murr?)
Ugh, how I HATE most of those terms. There ARE other species in the fandom besides foxes, wolves, and big cats. How about HOOVES?
*What do you wish furry was NOT associated with?
Lots of stuff. Here's a a short list: Pokemon, Sonic, over-the-top lifestylers.
*How strongly do you feel about someone bashing the community as a whole?
In general, bashing is petty and pointless. Grow up and find another hobby folks. No matter how cool YOU think you are, the rest of the world thinks you're a freak too.
*How strongly do you feel about anyone bashing you yourself for your interest based on the media's aspect of what furry is?
Hasn't happened, but anyone who lets the media determine their opinions probably isn't worth taking seriously.
*We all know furries have alot of sexual aspects in this fandom, What's your opinion on it?
Sex is a VERY important part of life. There's a reason that it has driven societies, arts, and cultures all across the world. It's just sad that the US is so puritanical about it.

Personal

*What is/are your fursona(s)?
Rochndil the Unicorn (male, PF), Marian the Vampire Cow (female).
*Do you have any fetishes that pertain to the fandom?
Hell yes. Unbirthing, lactation, pregnancy, BE, lingerie, nursing, etc.
*If you could magically morph into your fursona would you?
Tough call. I would love the opportunity to get my hooves back, but I also have responsibilities that would be difficult to take care of four-on-the-floor.
*Do you believe you have a spirit animal?
Heh, I *AM* a spirit animal.
*What other fanbases/groups are you a part of?
Gaming, fantasy/scifi, odds and ends.
*Anthro/Feral, Therian or Kemonomimi (Not a furry, just a Anthro/Feral, definitely. Don't quite understand the Therians, and the Kemonos just annoy me for the most part.
*Are you a fursuiter?
If yes, how many do you own?
If No, do you ever plan on being a suiter?
No, and not likely to be. I've given some thought to doing a costume (not a suit) for both Marian and Roch, but never got very far with it. Too much expense and trouble. Besides, at Cons I'm usually the packhorse, and I couldn't do that in costume.
*How many of your friends are furry?
Friends? What are those? Seriously, I have a few, though most are only seen infrequently.
*How many pets do you own, if any?
3 cats, 4 dogs.
*Aside from furry what other interests do you have?
Lots. As above in fandoms: fantasy, scifi, gaming, jewelry, blacksmithing, firearms, woodworking, cooking, gardening, homesteading, animal husbandry, etc.
*Are you confident enough in yourself to say that you're a fur, no matter what the media says?
Short answer: fuck the media, they're only after ratings, not truth. Heck, I don't even have cable OR TV currently, and don't miss it. So yes, of course.

I HAVE attended cons, but they're expensive and time-consuming, neither of which I have to spare.
My family and I have been to AC and FWA, as well as the local mega-con, DragonCon.

Occasionally, but not often.
*Have you ever attended a furry party?

Yes, and I would again, with the right group.

How do you think I met my wife? -:) We met at WCOTP.
*What furry websites do you attend?
I host my stories on Velar as well as here, and I visit a number of other places, such as Eka's, MSGOTU, Mamabliss, and WikiFUR pretty regularly.
*What non furry websites do you frequent?
Plenty, I read webcomics at the Belfry, and do Facebook, LiveJournal, and numerous other specialized areas, such as Iron Crown's Rolemaster site and the home of Dwarf Fortress.

*Has the fandom done anything for you that you're thankful for? Has it taught you anything or brought you anything you treasure greatly?
Heck yes, as I mentioned above, that's how I found my wife. I've made friends and contacts here that I never would have otherwise, and met many fascinating people. I've also met some folks that I could do without, but that's always the way. I consider it a net gain, and take the good and leave the bad behind.
