Life Update and Art Schedule

Ask me about Commissions!
So, I got word last Friday that a job I was waiting on results for a background investigation for was complete, and I was officially offered the job! I start at the end of this month and I'm very excited to be working in my field ^-^
That being said, my work schedule is going to change in a couple of weeks, which means that my artwork schedule will also be changing. Those that are currently on my queue will be finished this week, and any additional commissions I take on will be completed before I start my new job on the 23rd. Beyond the 23rd will be dependent upon whatever my work schedule is, and however rigorous and/or tiring training is.
I will update you as I can after the 23rd, but I am tentatively putting in place the following:
- I will not exceed 2 commissions per week in my Regular or Sale queues. My Etsy queue cannot be controlled, therefore I cannot place a rule on it.
- I will be adding a Waitlist queue to my main page. Waitlisted commissions are any orders placed in a week where my 2 order max has already been met. Commissions on this queue will be put on the Regular or Sale queue once a space opens up.In order for a Waitlisted commission to be moved, the invoice MUST be paid off, or they forfeit their "next in line" spot to the waitlister immediately after them.
- Turnaround times will vary more significantly, and based on the nature of this job, I may be on-call on my days off and called away from whatever I am doing. I will be as honest and transparent as possible about the length of time needed to complete a commission, and I appreciate your patience and understanding always.
Once I've gotten more comfortable with the work schedule, or have figured out best days to complete artwork, this may change. I will also be moving out some time in the next 6 months (this job is providing me double the salary I currently make) and will announce when that will be taking place as it will mean I won't be completing or taking commissions for a short length of time until I am moved and unpacked enough to be functional.
