Happy International Women's Day!

Growing up I had alot of female Icons to look up to. For me they were characters on tv, Xena, Tasha Yar (Star Trek) and Buffy the Vampire slayer. As I grew older I came to admire women of Science and Engineering and bravery like Rosalind Franklin, Amelia Earhart, Molly Pitcher, Molly Hayes, Joan of Arc, Mary Seacole, Harriet Tubman. Today more and more stories about forgotten women doing extraordinary things have had their chances to shine, and with the Me Too movement hopefully women can some day reach the equality we so desire.
