So I'm starting to notice that I'm not not getting any attention on this site any more. It's sort of becoming a chore to even post. I wonder why? I see so many artists do well here, even ones that are like me and doing characters and aren't filling their galleries with commissions and NSFW. I normally try not to worry about this; popularity never mattered to me, but reaching people, having my work do something for them, that matters. I try not to think on it and I do my work for me and keep saying "They'll come, keep going," But I am starting to get discouraged.
It may be shameless, but I'm going to start plugging my recent work in journals and blogging about my process to see if that helps some. If you are a watcher or a fan or someone that faves or comments on my work, you mean so much to me, thank you. I try to get to everything, I don't always and I am super busy in my real life. This isn't intended to guilt trip or whine about "poor me" I am just genuinely wanting to find a way to get more eyes on my work, especially since I am creating a much bigger project. It seems like since I started the number of people that look at my stuff here has gone down and not up. If I can't turn it around then I may just use this site for archival purposes and mainly live on twitter where I get a little more interaction. It's something I'm not going to do soon, but the thought is definitely in the back of my mind.

Anyway it's cost depends on A) size and B) duration but even if you just do it for a month you'll see an uptick to some degree. I know some folks use ad blockers but it seems to have made a difference for me at least in terms of new watchers.
And yeah, it's a 3 step process which you start by clicking on advertise with FA (either at the top or bottom of the page somewhere) and follow the instructions.
