Rules for those looking to enter Adnix Manor

So... Jinx realized that his heavily enchanted home and the sometimes fussy nature of those who live there would leave the place with a lot of creepypast type rules... Here they are for those wanting to see.
Getting inside:
Rule #1: Don't bother knocking, if you are are to be allowed in you will find your key in a moment.
Rule #2: Make note of where and how you find your key, this will tell you what kind of guest you are.
-If you find the key in your hand, you have been excepted as a resident. You're room has been set up for you and the Adnixs shall send for anything you have left behind.
-If you find the key in your pocket, you have been excepted as a guest. You may enter, but do not try stay the night unless a bed is offered to you.
-If you find the key in your personal effects (In your purse/bag/binder/cardholder/tool box/etc.) your business is excepted. Enter and do what you need but do not linger for too long after.
-If you find the key in your shoe, or under your tongue you have been excepted as a thief. Make sure you put on a good show, and don't feel too guilty. After all, he wanted you to have it.
-If you fail to find a key, the Adnixs do not care to see you at this time. No ritual is needed, but hanging around on the property too long or begging to be let inside is seen as bothersome.
-If you find the key left laying around, it's already too late. If you are religious, make peace with your god or gods, if you have loved ones to wish farewell, text them. You do not have time for a call and the sounds can be quite unsettling.
Rule #3: Though Alex shows up from time to time, he is not a resident. Do not say that he is.
Rules for residents:
Rule #1: If you have made it this far, Jinx likes you just as you are, just be yourself.
Rule #2: Make sure Jinx and Mutt know about any habits you keep so they may add your rules.
Rules for guest:
Rule #1: If you hear or smell anyone making food and can not see Jinx, stay out of the kitchen. He hates being interrupted.
Rule #2: If you are offered any food, you must try a full bite of every dish on offer, no matter how strange they may seem.
-If you are worried you may be or are allergic to something offered, state so bluntly, do not apologize.
-Do not lie about having allergies, it will only make things much worse.
Rule #3: Be honest about the food. How else is he to know what you do and do not like?
Rule #4: If you can't find someone's room, it means you are not welcome there. Stop looking for it.
Rule #5: If Mutt seems to be ignoring you, she is. Let her.
Rule #6: Do not look for Ras. Do not ask to see Ras. If you need to see Ras at any point, the others will offer to take you to see him.
Rule #7: If Hex keeps looking at you, wait till you have her attention then belch or play with your belly a bit. Nothing bad will happen if you don't, but it's the only reliable way to get her to stop.
Rule #8: If it say "Mark" on it, don't touch it. Don't even look at it for too long.
Rule #9: If Mark tells you to leave, politely refuse to do so. All his threats are empty, but being unkind or ignoring him will result in you being kicked out by someone else.
Rule #10: If offered a gift from:
Mutt - Except it, you will need it soon.
Jinx - Except it or you are unlikely to get to return.
Morgan - Except the gift, no matter how much you hate it. She has her reasons for offering it to you.
Horus - You may refuse or except the gift, but few would ever chose the former.
Mark - Politely inform him that "[He] can't trick you so easily." No matter what he offers, it's always a booby trap.
Hex - If you except her first gift, you must except all her gifts. If you refuse the first gift, she will never offer you another.
Cookie: Except it, he worked hard on it, but make sure you ask for an explanation of what it actually does.
Alex - Flatly refuse. Get Morgan.
Ras - Unknown, he has never offered anyone a gift.
Rule #11: For those looking to give the residents a gift:
Mutt - As she lacks any physical form, gifts given to her must lack the same for her to enjoy them. Poetry is your best bet.
Jinx - He has most everything he wants, food, any form of art or any item made for babies or adult babies is your best bet.
Morgan - Unknown. She has excepted all gifts offered thus far but it is unknown what she does with them or if she even wants them.
Horus - Food or anything that can be worn on his body, make sure your gift is something you would like to see him eat or ware respectively. It's more fun for him that way.
Mark - Anything seen as dark/edgy/punk/emo. NEVER give him any part of your body including fluids.
Hex - A collar and leash. Do note she will take this to mean you want to be her pet.
Cookie - Components for his craft. What he needs is impossible to predict, ask him, he will not mind.
Alex - Never offer him anything. If he asks for something, give it to him quickly then get Morgan.
Ras - Nothing. If you must give him something, never try to get it back or replace it.
Rule #12: While playing music is fine, do not allow heavy base sounds to play.
Rule #13: Swear as much as you like at anyone you want, but no form of slur will be premiered.
Rule #14: If you see dirty dishes in the sink, wash them. If other residents offer to help, you may except, but never try to have Jinx do it.
Rules for workers:
Rule #1: If any part of the house seems unusually hard to alter in the course of your work, stop trying to alter it and find Mutt. She will advise you on what to do next.
Rule #2: If the alteration needs to be made quickly to avoid disaster, loudly announce "This is an emergency!" then try again.
Rule #3: If the house still resists, run as far as the empending emergency demands, loudly telling the others to follow you.
Rule #4: Do not bring any food with you unless you are prepared for it to be stolen.
Rule #5: If your food is stolen, tell one of the residents and they will get you something to eat. Keep in mind they all each have their own skills and habits:
Mutt - Victorian era foods. Nothing poison will be present.
Jinx - Can make most anything but asks a lot of questions about what you want.
Morgan - Much the same as Jinx, but asks very few questions. Make sure you inform her of any alterations you will be needing.
Horus - Much the same as Jinx and Morgan, asks how you will take your food but rarely makes suggestions.
Mark - Will not cook for you.
Hex - Baked goods. Asking her to cook for you is the same as excepting a gift from her.
Cookie - Soft tacos.
Alex - N/A
Ras - Chicken soup. What you can not eat yourself, insist he eat or he will cry.
Rule #6: While there is no need to run out the door, do not linger for too long after the job is done.
Rule #7: If you wake up in a bedroom, it means you fell asleep. Don't worry, Jinx will cover for you when your boss asks where you where.
Rule #8: If you fall asleep on the job Jinx will insist on cooking for you when you get up. Make sure you eat or he will not be able to stop worrying about you.
Rule #9: If you encounter anything you must interact with that bares the name "Mark", loudly state "Wow! This [item] is really cool! I wonder who it belongs to!" as sarcastically as you can. Mark will arrive shortly there after to inform you that it is his.
-If the item is a personal effect that was in your way, ask if you may have it. He will shout that you may not, grab it and run off.
-If the item is part of the manor itself, politely inform him that "[You] are fairly/quite sure it is Jinx's." before doing what you need to. Ignore his protests and threats.
-In the unlikely event that Mark does try anything, Jinx and/or Mutt will take care of him without you having to do anything.
-If there is no time to deal with Mark and his ritual, just do what you need too, though you will have to explain yourself later or bad things may happen.
Rule #10: Do not touch any paintings while Mutt is watching. She doesn't mind if they are touched, but hates to see it happen.
Rule #11: In the unlikely event that your duties take you to Ras, great him kindly but do not offer him your name till he has told you his own. Do not speak to him beyond this unless you must. Do not stair at him but make sure to look at him and smile now and again. If you must speak to him, be as polite as you are able.
Rules #12 If you manage to make Ras cry, bow your head, apologies, then get one of the other residents. Mark will berate and threaten you but all his threats are empty.
Rules for thieves:
None in particular, just make sure you give them a good show while "sneaking" around and make sure you grab something nice. If you still have it when you get out, you have earned it. If it's gone, just let it go.
And most of all, of all, no matter what kind of guest you are. If you keep finding yourself back in the entry way without looking for it, leave, or soon you will never find that room again.
