Yepper. Well, one of them will adamantly deny she's furry, however, I still consider her a furry by my definition.
*How long have you been in the community?
Since about 1996. Yeah, Looong time!
*How did you find furry?
I got Furry Pirates! The RPG from Tomorrow is Yesterday. From there, I found J. Willard's art. It all went downhill from there! ::laughs::
*What's your reason for furry (what interested you to get into the community)?
The art, mainly. I LOVE the art. And the RolePlay!
*What's Furry to you?
Crowe basalt summed it up best: "a more than passing interest in anthropomorphic animals."
*If someone found out you're a furry and asked you about it how would you respond?*
A lot of people know I'm a furry. I've got a furry name tag here at work, use my Furry name, let them know I'm going to a furry convention, and they've seen my furry art of my furry characters. If someone new asks, I tell them what I do, what I enjoy, and leave out the creepier aspects of the fandom. Buh!
*What are your favorite aspects of our community?*
The people. My mom said "Wow, these fuzzy people are REALLY nice!" I ADORE my friends I've made in the fandom. While there was a lot of Drama, those who have stuck by me have REALLY proven what they're made of, and I will happily stand beside them when/if they go through their own personal hells.
*Do you use any furry terms? (i.e. yiff, paws, murr?)*
It's funny. My mom has ALWAYS used the word 'paws' to reference human hands. "Wash your paws!" was a common sound in my house. I also use "murr" and "Fursona"
*What do you wish furry was NOT associated with?*
The sex. It gets old that everyone thinks I'm porking other people in my fursuit. I'm not, that would be gross (The sweating would be AWFUL!
*How strongly do you feel about someone bashing the community as a whole?*
I will happily stand up for my fandom, but I don't go out of my way to change people's perception of things.
*How strongly do you feel about anyone bashing you yourself for your interest based on the media's aspect of what furry is?*
Generally people who know me will ask me. If they don't, I'll just correct them with a smile...

I think this is more of a human nature thing than a furry thing. You'll see it in just about ANY fandom.

Currently own one (Kyuuketsuki) and am in the process of making another one.

Not usually. I'm rather reserved/shy/quiet. Though I'd love to in my suit!

Oooh man, yeah! Friends, friends and friends! I've learned a TON from these folks! It's encouraged me and my art, it's given me something to feel a part of, it's given me my fursuit. I've made money, lost money, traveled to exotic places, all because I'm a furry!
