What did I just see?

The Place where Synxes are born.

Some freaky animation by a man named Sam Fennah. I'm not sure why I'm so into these freaky monsters.... but I am. XD

I came across this a few years back and couldn't decipher any coherent story, all the characters talk about there being some great history behind them but it just seems to be a collection of events with no start as far as I can tell ^.=.^;

It's like being dropped into an anime at episode 300, with no idea who the characters are or what they're about. There is lots of baggage between them, but you're given little incite into that.

The animations are certainly fun and interesting, but I just couldn't get into it, with so much unexplained. That and a lot of the characters feel over engineered to me.

Well, there's a novel coming out that will explain what's up with these freaky creatures, but it can't come fast enough. XD There's a whole Wiki dedicated to the lore which I assume is fleshed out in said novel and that's its own rabbit hole, but yeah, the show itself is pretty disjointed. Can't really disagree about the over-engineered characters, Ludwig is a perfect example. There's a lot of extra going on with that design, ha.

Yeah, not everyone's cup of tea, but I'm oddly fascinated by it. XD

I still really wanna read the book. :3 Was supposed to come out last year but I can't find any updates about it now.
