Yep, I had the feeling it was going to be true. So until those dates come you still have the chance to buy whatever games are available on those platforms but after that you are screwed, they say you can still redownload what you’ve bought but I’d be cautious and get a big memory storage to be able to keep what you got.

I don’t like it either, one saving grace is that you can still redownload games that you’ve previously bought but still, can’t get any more.
Guess it's time to obtain that brand new TB drive and throw it into the backup, virgin PS3. See about making the move to a new machine before it's too late. My 'original' machine has like a bajillion hours of service on it. And it still fires up to this day. (Should know. I purchased some Dragon's Lair for it, the other night.)

they better have a massive clearence sale for this, make everything cheap so people can buy as many games as they can do.
I do support Sony for having been loyal to their on-line stores for so long. I mean...we are now in the PS5 era. That's literally fifteen years of endless support. I know that it's sad to see the things finally going and is a great reason why we should never give up physical media. But, they ran the long race with support. Unlike the Nintendo e-shops. I swear, Nintendo didn't even stash one server in a dusty garage as soon as they saw something far more profitable come along.
