I Don't Take Commissions

Ahoy!
A lot of people have been asking me about this, so I decided to just make a journal to answer this question.
Q: Do you take commissions?
A: I don't, simply because art, to me, is something I take refuge in to relax and unwind. It's something I love running freely with any way I want to. The idea of opening up for commissions sort of ruins the mood for me and causes me to not be as focused with artwork. On top of that, I've only been seriously drawing since May 20th of 2020. I don't have the practical experience to be a good source of commissions with TAT or with the knowledge that I could execute any idea thrown at me. I'd rather not deal with that and just resolve to keep it as my hobby I can enjoy.
Q: Do you ever plan on opening up for commissions?
A: Under a very specific circumstance; yes I would. I don't at the moment simply because I work a job that sustains me. Other artists can use this cash (and some rely on this as their sole source of income). I don't want to take any potential customers away from someone who could use that money more. Much further down the line, I have the intent to potentially (still a long shot) open commissions with the intent to donate all money made from it to a charity to benefit a cause in need. Other than that I don't intend to open up for commissions at all.
Q: What about art trades?
A: I've been burned on a few art trades already. I don't like that feeling. This would be something I would need to initiate/request.
Q: Can we ask for art?
A: No. But down the line, I will open up polls (with species suggestions in it) for newer TFs in the future. It'll be on Twitter, so keep an eye out for that!
Thank you again for all of your support and interest in my artwork. I'm still amazed that so many people come my way for TF artwork. I've admired so many who have been in this field for a long time. Knowing that my small gallery is gaining some interests humbles me to no end and inspires me to keep on doing my best to become a better transfur artist.
