Some people are antisocial.

Im antisocial as well. But I don't block random people.

It happens, one artist blocked me because I said her creatures in her art looked like Drow from DnD.

I just found out what anti-social means. I thought it meant "Someone who doesn't talk or associate with others a little or not at all."

But apparently its a bit darker. So whooops!

Apparently so. Some people I feel like having any excuse to feel offended, though in some cases where one is making it a point to be offensive, that's one thing. But stating an opinion or observation, that is another thing entirely.

Half the site's userbase are unstable emotionally. I mean I'm emotionally not the most rock solid but atlease I don't passively agressively block people. People need to stop being so frantic and talk things out instead of validly doing that highschool era crapolla.

It's happened to me a few times before, I don't get it either.

Same thing happened to me alot, sometimes I fave an art, have good banter with the artist then next time they upload: BLOCKED

I blame political radicalisation, maybe they obsessivley look into people who comment on their stuff, or maybe other activists pressure them like "Dude you HAVE to block this person and stop talking to them"

It is true, it is very annoying when there are unstable people who like to promote hatred. I consider such behavior quite immature.

Maybe it was a situation like what I did to you. Fat fingers hit the block button when didn't mean too after sending a note. Lol

People will block you based on guilt by association. If you are friends with a certain person then they will block you just for talking to them. Where i come from we call those people childish and immature. Just garbage people really.

That never happenned to me before but, I have been blocked by people on twitter that I never talked to, I would imagine thats close enough lol My guess would be the same, they have taken a look at your profile and blocked you for something you said or posted, of course that doesn't justify what they did.

I haven't had it happen to me, but I knew someone once who blocked people at random somewhere else. He basically just thought it was funny and it was a small power trip to him to do so.

Usually it’s guilt by association or politics, though some are more mystifying. One guy watched me then when I went to thank him for the watch I couldn’t do so because I was blocked.

It’s annoying but you shouldn’t let it get to you. If they don’t tell you what the problem is they can’t expect you to read their mind and magically fix the issue. It’s immature high school BS and you are better off meeting others that won’t do that.

Sometimes it happens; and regardless of whatever reason or justification they may have in the end it just comes down to them being a jerk imo.
