What a strange turn of events'

Well on mondayMy boss never showed up for work
We all assumed it was nothing major, maybe something came up, or maybe she was sick or her phone doesn't work.
Well she never called never returned any calls or messages.
We heard today she's now in DC, she called one of the managers at another store but still won't talk to the owners.
The realy weaird bit is that now the owners need a new manager so they are looking to hire from with in
It looks like there are only 2 folks in the store who realy stand a chance to to get the position and I happen to be one of them...
Granted I've only worked there for 4 months but they have talked to me about becomeing a assistant manager. So I'm guessing it's Me and Cliff in the running

But yes, somewhat interesting that they're looking to hire from within, that quickly, in response to that. Perhaps there's something else the old manager has been doing that has annoyed the owners? I'd want to ask a few questions there before accepting...
