In Russia and the post-Soviet countries, the name Vasya is one of the most common names for male cats. It can even be called the default name. He comes to us on his own to get a little affection and attention. He climbs into our laps, purrs, and rubs his cheek against our palms.

The cat was washed and treated for external and internal parasites.
On the first day of his stay at home, the cat had severe diarrhea, which alarmed us. During the first trip to the veterinary clinic, his body temperature was slightly elevated. Now his temperature has returned to normal.
Yesterday we spent 3 hours in the clinic. They took a general blood test. It turned out that his blood was too thick and clot right in the syringe. The poor thing had to draw blood from her hind leg.
According to the results of the analysis, he has increased hemoglobin, platelets, monocytes and basophils.
Final diagnosis: gastrointestinal disorder.
Preliminary diagnosis: helminthic invasion.
Perhaps he could have been poisoned by something while he was on the street. Bad people sometimes try to poison cats living in basements. The doctors gave him a glucose injection. In the next five days, I will be giving him these injections myself at home.
They prescribed a therapeutic diet and a lot of medications. Eye drops, dry cough medicine, glucose injections, probiotics, polysorb.

About $50 was spent on veterinary medicine and medicines.
