When Scott Bakula took the role of Captain Archer in "Star Trek: Enterprise", I wonder if fans were asking him if his second in command was in the form of a hologram only he could see, or that if he muttered "oh boy!" every time his ship leapt into warp.;-D

Did you like S.T. Enterprise ?
I however think of it as more of an unofficial alternate universe S.T.
(There mightn't be vulcans with beards like in the original & bajorans mightn't enslave humans like those episodes in D.S.9)
My thoughts on this are :
The ship has a different number (NX-something I think)
According to S.T.T.N.G.s computer in the episode relics when Scotty goes to the holodeck there were only 5 Enterprises
Capt. Archer knew Klingon had big ridgey heads because they imprisoned him in at least 1 episode , Archer would've told Starfleet & years later Kirk , crew & all should have known that Kirk's Klingons where hybrids
However I for the most part viewed that as an alternate S.T. Universe
