If the skunk drops below four drawings a day, he will explode!
Okay, seriously though. I get a lot of comments about how fast I work, and quite a few express amazement with how rapidly I can produce multiple works in the course of a day.
There are a few reasons for this. One, it's how I was trained. The professors of the (defunct) Art Institute of Phoenix stressed quick production while also adhering to quality standards. It's one of those practices that have stuck with me over the years.
Two, I hate idling. My brain needs occupation. A mentally engaged skunk is a happy skunk, and drawing engages, relaxes, and entertains. And ever since I went digital, it's been easier than ever for me.
I've been trying to slow down, reminding myself this is not a race. Hopefully, I have not been sacrificing quality while quantity is certainly increasing.
So yeah. I know I'm speedy. Very little I can do about it. More drawings to come. =P

I will say, I haven't noticed a drop in quality while you've been putting more pieces out. But it's good that you're trying to find the right speed to work at!

No need to speed. Take it easy. Take it slow. We can wait for more chris and company art. No biggie.

Think that’s the advantage of your art style. You can do it quickly while maintaining quality
