I would SO do something like. My husband and I have been talking about doing a calendar since we did an "ÜberBear" pin-up together for a DNA mag article on Gay Superheroes. (DNA #115, p66... DNA is a gay interest mag out of Australia.)

Id have to say yeah, that would be a little bit new for a few people. As for me, I'd join it for the award for sure, if they had an award for the best gay guy in the org.
