OH I used to crochet! I loved it! I actually have a few strange hobbies but one thing I would love to do again is diving. I miss it so much ;;

oh god I would do anything to have a place nearby to swim or dive. I had 12 ft certification and dove in a lake nearby my families place in wisconsin. It was so cool

Aw, poor pup. I hope they'll be okay! And poor you! Though I suppose being busy is better than the alternative, all things considered. I hope things won't get too hectic, though.

As far as hobbies go, I suppose my writing is the biggest one. While I've mostly been revising and editing lately, I'm slowly laying the groundwork for novel number six. I'm also something of an amateur historian with a particular interest in historical figures who have been mythologized. An example would be King John of England, who most people know of more from the Robin Hood stories than from history.

It can be a bit tricky to line things up sometimes, especially in longer stories. But that's what revising is for! And if it's something you might want to try, you can always look into shorter forms like short stories or even flash fiction. I'm not much good at the latter, since I get too invested in my characters to keep things that short. But it's pretty popular these days.

For what it's worth, I wish I could do what you do, too! The skill you and so many others have at bringing images to life never ceases to amaze me!

And I am doing well! Quit a job that was giving me all sorts of grief and anxiety and taking a week off before starting up a different, (hopefully) better one.

A hobby of mine is definitely writing, but I just haven't had the time or the motivation to write recently. I have a few stories on the backburner I've been wanting to work on but I always put it off. Maybe I can chip away at them with this upcoming week off. I have a few stories up on my profile and I genuinely love writing them and sharing them with other people (especially when they see I gave them a quick lil cameo as a surprise) but I just need to sit down and really focus on it sometime in the near future I think. It can be a little daunting at times.

Honestly good, no one should be stuck in a job that makes them anxious!

Ahhh like I said to Megan, I wish I had that talent! I just struggle connecting events and I find I'm left with a jumbled mess of stuff happening.
