Would you buy a fullsuit at a convention? Polls/questions...

Would you buy a fullsuit at a con? 🤔Would it be enough to see measurements & pics, or would you want to try it on, even though you can't try on a fullsuit from DD before buying? What would be necessary for you to be sold on it? (Polls below, comments/discussion rly appreciated!) You can also visit this same thread on Twitter! https://twitter.com/C_F_Studios/sta.....25850672373760
(DD stands for DealersDen or another auction site in this thread - we want to find out why auction sites can sell fullsuits before the buyers have tried them on, but at conventions the psychology seems to be different!)
1. If you had the funds, would you buy a fullsuit at a convention (if you fit)?
-Yes
-No
2. Would you need to try it on before buying or are measurements/pics enough, as on DD? What abt sanitary/privacy issues that come with trying something on? (Multiple ppl may have tried it on, no private area where you could try it on in a sales booth, would you have your own undersuit)
-Yes, I NEED to try it on
-No, just measurements are okay
-No, for sanitary reasons
-No, for privacy reasons
3. Would you be alright with a "booth babe" scenario? (An employee, not the buyer, wearing the suit for a few hours for advertisement purposes at the booth)
-Yes, that's cool!
-No, for sanitary reasons
-I don't really care
4. If money was not an issue, which factor would most likely prevent you from buying a fullsuit at a convention?
-Transporting the suit home
-Fit, not custom made
-Other (Comment and tell us!)
What other details/issues would you want to know or would be necessary to buy a fullsuit at a con? If you were just looking for a partial, would you be excited to find a fullsuit for sale? We really want to facilitate some discussion on this, so tell us what you think! 💖
We know other artists have sold fullsuits at cons, but we want to know what buyers are looking for specifically that makes it appealing or unappealing to buy them! Artists, if you've sold fullsuits at cons before, how did it go?

2. Yes, NEED to try on
3. Yes, that's cool! I feel like it would help sell the character, because the model could make them come alive.
4. Fit, not custom made
Hope this helps, and you are a very talented company!
2. Yeah, I’d want to try it on if I was buying one.
3. I don’t have a preference either way.
4. Fit would be my biggest concern.
2. Yes, I NEED to try it on
3.Yes, that's cool!
4. Transporting the suit home
2. Yes, definitely would want to be able to try it on.
3. Yes, I'd be ok with that.
4. Fit would be the biggest issue. Like I'd theoretically buy a full suit but the chances of a premade fitting me ever are pretty slim as someone not average sized.
2: Yes, it is very important to try on at least the head, and i was able to do that when i bought my con-suit
Here I can add that having a clean balaclava on is a good way to test on a suit without too much "human gunk" rubbing on it, and that was also how it was done with the suit i bought, despite i was the only one who tried it on
3: No, if i where to buy a suit, i would like it not to have been warn for a prolonged period, other then maybe another potential buyer having tried it on with the clean balaclava as descirbed earlier
4: I need to instantly fall in love with the character, other then that, if it fits, and all that, imma buy it!!!
Even if i dont have adiquite space to transport it home, I will find a way to do it! It was what happend when i bought a suit at a con last time, and i made it work!
Buying a fullsuit at cons would be hard tho, so maybe doing the suits as partials, with a fullsuit upgrade available would be the best option to do, since making the fullsuit body would highly limit the potential buyers, where there are many more for a partial-suit
2. Whenever getting a fursuit that is not a custom build, measurements are good but trying a fursuit on to know for sure to short, too tall, to tight, or lose in areas not all measurements can account for, also Lysol exists for reasons. I would see about selling under-armor as part of the fursuit deal if the person does not already own such.
3. If the "booth babe" overall is around my height and measures around the waist, I am willing to consent to the idea of, if it fits the "babe" with relative ease then it should fit me. Premaid suits should to be washed beforehand anyway, but in a pinch, use spray.
4. If money is no object, transportation is no issue then either, I however would find it easier to drive home in a car with a fursuit then taking it through TSA if I few to the con.
The fit was mentioned above and my stance on that.
The "interest factor" of the fursuit is partly my thing as well. If the suit is a ready to sell A grade DHgate looking generic canine with basic colors I would have less interest the say, a full blown technicolor dino with a split tail and a rainbow of feathers like something you would see in amazon depictions of Quetzalcoatl. Uniqueness is my own personal bias when it comes to what I like in fursuits, since visuals are the first things you see before anything else: Perormance, backstory of character, etc.. LED lighting may also be a selling point, just use Gem Rapror as an example of that fir turning lots of heads. And yes I do understand the more complex the fursuit the greater the cost.
