So I actually was willing to have a polite dialogue before you blocked me but considering that you didn't want to hear another opinion I'll let you keep in your information bubble.

Im not going to call you anything. Why the need to jump to that conclusion. I just pose to you that the article written on Gateway pundit is based on selective quotes from a 4 page study. I do not think that taking salient points from a 4 page, 4 PAGE, study warrants saying yes masks are bad. As someone that is inside of the scientific community if someone handed me a 4 page study and said this is incontrovertible evidence I'd scoff and say you need more data. A 4 page study, let alone the name of the study itself "A Health Hypothesis", is just that. They are describing a hypothesis while yes using some empirical evidence, but not enough.

I'm a skeptic of most things and I do not think that masking up is bad for health. How do you think doctors and nurses managed to stay safe? Their particular mask set (N95) is particularly better than what consumers can get off shelves. I don't get people that don't think that using a mask, when in confined public areas where you cannot socially distance, is dangerous to your health.

Its like with the mathematician Pascal. "Pascal argued that, while it's impossible to prove whether or not God exists, people should believe in God anyway. The essential component of the argument is the relative payoffs and costs for believing or not believing in God under either the assumption God exists or God doesn't exist." Even if you believe in God and God doesnt actually exist, was there really any harm to you for believing. Like with masks. I get that "its an infringement of my rights" but when it comes to the above sentiment with Pascal it seems selfish.

... I'm guessing this means that people who BELIEVE in masks are generally molesters ... because if you stand up for the religion of masks, that gives you a free pass!

I work in an industry that sees anywhere from 300 to 1700 customers a day depending on the season. None of my coworkers wear our masks around each other, and I actively handle cards and a pay kiosk that most customers touch. Not a single one of us, or the several new hires that would stop showing up because unemployment was SO good, ever got Covid. One coworkers child tested positive, and they were running around and riding their bike like nothing was even wrong with them.
The media says one thing, but seeing is believing. As someone with asthma I should be scared of it, but I ain't. Not in the slightest.
