Canada wants to block furaffinity and social media...

General
for background I point you to this article:

User generated content consists of sites ranging from reddit to YouTube to Places like Fur affinity, Inkbunny (which has enough illegal material under Canadian Law to get you surgically castrated) and the like.
Pretty much anything you say or do online will subject you to a "broadcasting license" and "regulations". Essentially you will become a "broadcaster" and subject to the same rules as a TV or Radio Station as an individual. You will be subject to https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Canadian_content or face Jail, internet bans, or fines. This goes especially if you host a user-gernerated site (just about any artist with a gallery that doesn't block Canadians at this point) and you are Canadian you will be hauled in front of a disciplinary committee at the CTRC.
https://crtc.gc.ca/eng/home-accueil.htm
That pretty much means most furry sites will have to block or "Geo-fence" Canadians for Canadians only like China does and Canada may have to DNS block and "Wall garden the internet" (like it does for TV and radio).
Im services that do file transfers would also have to block Canadians as well because of "regulations".

Without regressing democracy in the process.
Just Alot of people being fined for not following cancon online or breaking copyright rules
Guess it's only a matter of time before other countries like the US also decide they will no longer tolerate any user generated content on the internet anymore and will pretty much abolish everyone's rights to post stuff as they see fit.
Having mobile execution vans would pretty much confirm that your respective country is becoming an authoritarian dictatorship/police state in one.
In other words, this bullshit needs to stop or else freedom and democracy as we know them will truly become things that'll only exist in our minds and hearts from now on.

https://laws-lois.justice.gc.ca/eng/acts/b-9.01/
https://laws-lois.justice.gc.ca/eng.....982/index.html
they could even fine me for not spelling "color" as "colour"
Plus they could demand credentials and skill proofs for discussing certain topics as well as bias issues and everything else.
Plus theres huge fines if its not followed as well as denials of access.
We have no separation of internet from tv and radio in this country
its nuts....
Next thing we know after this, there'll be a Great Firewall Of The USA, a Great Firewall Of Sweden, and so on and so forth until literally every single country in the world pretty much has an authoritarian dictatorship over their people's internet. -_-
I'm just so sick and fucking tired of this mass censorship bullshit by now...
Just makes me you angry i'm sure.
I could see censorship and copyright though combining and for example you-tube and others making it a matter of TOS or censoring non-Canadian content for Canadians and companys delivering lists of individual uploaders for CTRC discipline. Or them fining VPN companies and TV manufacturers or internet companies for not maintaining Can-con
Because effectively under this law and the regulations that are being talked about https://laws-lois.justice.gc.ca/eng/acts/b-9.01/ the broadcaster is the isp and the isp or hardware manufacturer has to do the censoring.
Like i said before Canada doesnt define "information service" or "Television service" on a "specific medium" its "words" "sounds" and "moving pictures" being broadcasted over a "technical system" of any kind.
"internet" has no legal definition in this county like it does in the us and the government just gave itself permission to regulate the internet like it does TV.
With ODSP going crappy and euthenasia I may get my "humanitarian claim" to us Citizenship with this shit. Hell canada could lose its "safe third country agreement" ( https://www.canada.ca/en/immigratio.....agreement.html ) with the us if this continues
Though as a disabled individual I dont know if id wanna live in the US. With no relevant skills and no ability to work or contribute to society, or gain skills of any kind (post secondary training or military) my existence is bleak no matter where I go. I would have an even more crappier existence then the one i do now without thinks like this that is too "left" for the USA. https://tribunalsontario.ca/hrto/
Will have to see though will have to see on both things.
