I struggle with motivation just like everybody else, but some personal stuff has happened recently that left me with some parts missing, for the lack of a better descriptor. It's as if you wake up one day and find that your non-dominant arm has vanished. You can more or less get on without it, but you keep forgetting that it isn't there until you subconsciously reach out for something. I don't intend for this to be a downer post, more an acknowledgement that I have some problems that I need to be working on.

I've also had a chance to examine the reasoning behind why I like the things (kinks) I do, and the knowledge gleaned from that has been as surprising as it has been depressing. It will likely affect any art I do moving forward.

But hey, Pillowfort's back! I won't bother you with any attempts to become my own armchair psychologist. If I decide to elaborate further, it'll be on there.

The Month of Mae is kicking off. I started playing Night in the Woods to learn more about its characters and the environment, but the game hasn't been grabbing me. I'm not sure whether that says more about myself or the game. Regardless, I know Mae's character a little better now, and due to the aforementioned self-reflection I'm not sure that I have the heart to make another gif in the same (NSFW-ish) vein as the ones from previous years. I'm still going to try to make something, but it will be for myself.
