The Great Tale of the Shoogs!----
✢ Intro to species ✢
Shoogs are a species belonging to Amma....What is Amma? Amma is a special universe made by Nim and Loa. Shoogs, at the beginning of time weren't always sweet thieves. Their ancestors actually lived in Sugar crystal mines and Sugar cane forestry. Their main source of food was eating and sucking the sugar from the crystal/stalk and absorbing that into their body to make what we know as sugar today. The sugar that they processed off their bodies, were filled with magic and was a good source of nutrients to the earth around them...This meant Sugar crystals get bigger and sweeter, and sugar cane and trees produce sap and concentrated sugar supply for them to fill their bellies. Shoogs were also very neutral in color, most closer to white than anything.
Modern day shoogs, have evolved a lot since those days. They produce more finished products and their diets influence the next generation. So, its safe to say the world of desserts took them by a whirlwind. Their furs began to change colors, as different fruits and dyes were added to the sweet things they got their hands on and eventually they became walking rainbows...Literally... As it stands many people now, treat Shoogs pretty friendly. They are like friendly stray cats and if someone has a candy they tend to donate it to the running around shoog babies. Shoog also are pretty friendly with the people they meet near where they live, but its not all just because they are cute. Shoogs are sometimes fed just to get their sugar, its a pretty beneficial partnership. Though, some truths are a lot calmer to handle than most. Not all Shoogs have it well off, especially if people of evil intent catch one and enslave them....but lets not think to much about that! Seeing as how everyone here is Shoog loving people....right !

What Are Shoogs?
Shoogs are a cat/dragon/sugar glider mixed species. They are the size of a Domesticated dwarf cat, standing at 5" tall and 7"-10" Lengthy. They live to steal, and by steal, they steal sweets. They are sugar thieves...Shoogs will climb into your house, or window, steal your baked sugary goods or candy and bounce! It's not all in vain though! Shoogs leave behind a "gift" Which is actually their own personal extract. This is usually magical sugar, that forms on their collar fluff. On rare occasions they do Extract full treats, but only if their a Shoog born with high magical ability.
Shoogs Primary Traits
-Shoogs have two sets of ears, the ears atop their heads are folded inward and only unfold when a Shoog is at its most alert. This is because those ears in particular can hear further out. Without the use of their top ears, they can hear anything from 120 feet(36.58m) away, with their top ears they can hear anything from 240 feet(73.16m) away.
-Fluffy Collar is also a primary trait, as it is where their extract forms.
-Wing Gliders are used to escape high places, swiftly and with ease.
-Fanged lip is a primary trait of a Shoog.
-Short furred everywhere but the tail and neck
Changeable Traits
-Their Whisker amount can range from 0-4 on each cheek. They unlike cat whiskers, are thick and sleek and form at the cheek and not the maw
-Their tails change in length and fur fluff, the smaller the tail the rarer it is.
-They can be born with horns or without, but bigger horns, and uniquely shaped ones are rarer.
-Other than sugar, on rare occasion their are shoogs born with excessive magical extract, and when shed will form full treats.

✢Some Other Facts✢
Shoogs are always born with specific designs that are a kin to their favorite sweets to eat, and their extract is usually a bi product from that treat, so if it likes to eat cotton candy, its extract will be either pink or blue sugar...or it will be white and taste like cotton candy. Though this is usually the case, there are some instances where they will love the bi product of the treat they are formed around. For example, they are a cinnamon bun but like to eat ginger candies instead of cinnamon buns....
Shoogs dont have a set "home" but they tend to live closer to where people live, because people=food
They can be domesticated, but it is very rare and requires a lot of sweets(A LOT OF SWEETS)
Like cats, female Shoogs can have litters with multiple fathers. but a litter of Shoogs caps at 3 per litter but its more common to birth only 1 at a time. unless its a breeding event, the litter can grow to its cap.
Female Teacup shoogs are only able to birth 1 baby per mating season, but Male teacup shoogs can have up to maximum birth but children will have a possibility of being teacup
on occasion if a shoog is fond of you, they will tend to offer their loot of the day, to you(extremely rare...they love sweets)
Shoogs can be anthro, but they prefer to stay feral, its easy to steal...
Shoogs cant breed with other species, only their own kind.
Relations
Shoogs are like cats, they do not have one set lover, but in events that a shoog really connects to another shoog, they can remain committed to a relationship.
Shoogs are okay to have as pets or familiar, but dont expect them to be trained...so outside pet at best.
Domestication
Process of domestication....
You have to shower it with its favorite food everyday during their hunting hour untill they like you enough to come by even with out snacks. After you have gained its trust invite it in...if it finds a spot it likes and falls asleep... you now have a shoog xD
Shoogs who become domesticated, arent any different from an outside cat. They will come home to their owners home to sleep, but during the day they will hunt come home around noon to show off its spoils like the king of egypt, shed whatever extra sugar crystals it had gathered that day, give you a good hey i appreciate you body swipe and go sleep in dark holes or places.
Its not uncommon for a shoog to bring back one of its spoils of the day as a gift to their owner, but it wont give you its favorite treat... just the treat they care for less <3
Q. Do paired shoogs [ teacup and reg] have to be lovers or can they breed outwards?
A. Shoogs that are sold as a pair dont have to necessarily be a love pair. They are just connected by responsibility and role, but are free to breed with others if you so choose
The gems that form above some shoogs ears, are highly concentrated magical sugar that crystalizes and forms certain shapes. When the top ears of a shoog divide to alert mode, the crystal will split and decrease in size forming smaller versions of the crystal, and will reform when put back together.
Shoogs have a mutation called Bam-Bam which occurs when a Shoog is more liquid sweet than solid. This alters their form making them have rounded ears, heftier bodies, and glass bellies. This is a very rare trait
