ok, let's gather 'round and have a real talk.
This is a bit of a vague topic, so bear with my while I try and accurately communicate thoughts without getting it wrong.
Basically = I put an honest effort into my artwork as much as I can. when I'm doing these, I'll frequently try to look for little things to experiment with.
That being said ...
There is a difference between what I draw for cash and what I draw for fun. Primarily, for my own projects, I'm a comedy-of-errors type writer. I mean, the principle players in the Happenstance project include a Robert-Stack-esque revenant, a feisty gnome girl in a 9' ironman suit, Florida Man, and a foulmouthed wannabe dictator loon.
In other words, whether or not a character is hot is usually pretty low on the list. ^^; So if you ask me "what do you think of this bombshell" just be aware the answer is RARELY EVER going to be "she hot".
Especially when the inquiry is a thinly veiled commission request.
So ... to illustrate, here's the same question asked twice. The different ways asked will get a different response...
version A
person "Hey, did you see that milk truck vampire from RE8?"
me "well, I just looked her up. And it seems like Capcom has embraced a new era in horror!"
- litany of jokes ensue, followed by some discussion of shifting from zombie to gothic horror -
Version B
person "wow! Did you see that vampire with the huge tits from RE8? I bet you'll want to draw her immediately, won't you! Especially if she's giving paizuri to some lucky guy, heh heh heh"
me "... bruh."
So yeah - I give candid opinions 99% of the time. So just remember that I grew up with chuck jones and tex avery ... meaning I may have a different personality stance than what the flood of tiddy dopts would suggest.

What do you think of the Sega Dreamcast? Should Sega return to the console market? I ask this due to improvements in technology and also Nintendo are using carts again for the Switch.

Would you ever do a piece of art that involves a skateboarding theme ala Thrasher or Skate?

Digital vs. Traditional? What do you recommend? Ever since a awesome friend got me into digital, it's super easy and adaptive for someone like me if I were to say not draw for a while. Thoughts on this?
