Daz3d help
So my poser just won't start on my new windows 10 computer, yay, so i made the jump to Daz, but I don't like the idea that I need to link my account from their website to their software.
I don't want Daz3D the company having access to look at my library on my computer.
Is this without merit?
I'm going to be having my confidential characters made into 3d and I want to keep them secret.
Anyone know how much the Daz3d company can see your files in their DAZ3d directory?

My Library = Everything else, local/offsite asset downloads, and/or chosen DC Library Hybrid.
The DC is simply a way to organize what is or isnt from the Daz Shop, and is not viewable by any Daz employee unless prompted and given permission by Trouble Ticket Mods to help solve customer problems.
What is sharable is only through local. Example: I dont use DC cause I want all my assets in one section, so I made my Library a chosen designated hybrid.
Like, i would find it highly unethical if a company would be able to "download or copy" stuff from your folders and sutch with your consent becouse you HAD to agree before being able to continue and install the damn program, then make an account to link stuff etc.
Like it's been said , i doubt they would look into files and sutch for whatever reason. Still it would be best to save these on a diff folder or drive.
Also, the Download/Linked stuff is only for their own products and Bridging programs together like Maya, Blender, and Zbrush.
It's just like how you play games with Steam, you have to be logged in for 85% of the games. While only so few can play offline.
But you dont HAVE to be signed in to use Daz. If you make models yourself, bridged to other 3d programs, or use assets outside Daz, it can all be done and used signed off and offline.
I myself never sign in, and have things set for all things offline.
If your worried about Spyware, dont be. Microsoft/Apple already spies on people without consent anyway.
The only way a program/person/etc cant spy on you, is if you run Linux with a Virtual Machine that emulates an OS.
For me it requires you to sign in to get rid of the splash screen when you first start it
I say contact me on Telegram if you have my name there, and we'll go over that and other questions you may have.
