What it do, homies?

So you may have noticed I've gone MIA for a while. That's because work has been kicking me in the balls with steel toe boots.

But I'm still writing every day. It's just that I don't have the full time needed to finish everything in one go anymore. Right now, I still have a few commissions lined up that I plan to finish. Once I do, then I'll be reopening commissions again, but I'm going to have some new stipulations moving forward because what I'm doing now just isn't working anymore.

1.) For the next wave of commissions, I won't be accepting anything over 3k words.

Work has been really gnarly tbh and too many commissions are just taking way too long to get through since I don't have the energy to write a lot of really long stuff after work. Those who commissioned me already, y'all are good, but moving forward, I'm going to start setting caps just so I can get more commissions done and have more free time to write my own stories as well as trades I still owe people.

2.) Commissions requests that don't have all of the information I require in the opening message will be ignored from now on.

I'm very tired of having to read through multiple messages to get to the info needed of a commission. It's tedious and more importantly, it tells me some people aren't actually reading the commission instructions when I post them. On my page, I have listed what I need from people in advance all readily available, yet many still insist on having to make me ask multiple questions before I get the information needed. So, going forward, if the opening message doesn't have all the information I need, I'm just going to ignore it. I'm not going out of my way anymore because, ngl, it feels a little disrespectful that I repeat multiple times to have information ready and some people still don't do that.

If you're unsure of what I am and am not okay with, I have the vast majority of that on the commission post when they open. So I make it very clear what I'm comfortable writing and what I'm not comfortable writing. If you're unsure despite that, just post the entire scenario anyway and I'll tell you if I'm okay with that.

Just don't make me ask 21 fucking questions to get the information outta you.

3.) I reserve the right to refuse accepting certain scenarios and do not want any push back on that.

This has come up a few times and I need to address it. I try to make clear in my commission info what scenarios or kinks I am not okay writing for. This won't cover everything, I get that, so some requests may still fall under that threshold of shit I'm not down with. That also includes certain characters. I have no interest in writing for human characters over forty, or hyper weight gains / obese scenarios, and I really don't like scenarios where preds just grow and grow and keep eating everything the larger they get til they're just eating entire cities or planets and shit.

No judgement for those who are down with that, but I'm not into that. And if I'm not into something, I'm not gonna write for it. Writing for something I don't like takes infinitely longer, even without factoring in how badly work's been running me ragged. There's plenty of kink fic writers on the market, my dudes. If I can't deliver, see about commissioning others who are more flexible.

Some other stuff may change going forward too. But that's the general gist of what to expect going forward. Thank you for listening to my Ted Talk.
