Hey there! Thank you for your interest in commissioning me! Here you can find my terms of service. If you have any questions about a commission please feel free to send me a note via PM or an email - lindsey.goldenmane[at]gmail.com
Golden Mane Illustrations TOS is subject to change at any time updates are posted whenever they occur. Please read through the following when considering a commission from me:
If you pay for my services I assume that you read and agreed to the following terms.
- Age Agreement -
By placing an order with “Golden Mane Illustrations" the client agrees that they are 18+ or older for adult art. If your a minor (13-17) you would still need to have the permission of your parents to commission me for sfw art. I do not work with clients under 18 who want adult art, no exceptions!
- Completion Times -
Large commissions are completed within a 1-2 month span. Smaller commissions may take about 3-4 weeks depending on time. This may vary due to the size of the commission and if a due date has been requested. Updates are always posted on my trello. If you’d like to know when your commission will be completed, please contact me.
- Invoices -
When you commission me I will send you a PayPal invoice to your requested email which must be paid within 28 hours. If you fail to pay past the 28 hours, your commission may be canceled and you will not be added to the list.
- Prices & Quotes -
Payment will be made up front and in full before I start work on the commission. You must send payment before I can start to secure your slot on my queue.
- Payment Methods -
Acceptable payment method currently is PayPal. I'm looking into eventually having KoFi as another payment option. I do not accept money orders or mailed checks. Currency is in USD (United States Dollar).
- Refund Policy -
Refunds: By agreeing to commission me, you are committed to following my TOS contract and what I will and won't draw. If I terminate a commission for any reason or if the client changes their mind before work has started you will receive a full refund. If I've already started halfway then you will get a partial refund. Any contract made will be void and the project considered cancelled. Refunds are issued within the same day commission is canceled. If a commission is going to be delayed by me due to personal family issues or something major happened then partial refunds or termination can be discussed on a case-to-case basis. If a commission is terminated at any time by the client I will refund for the work not completed. This will be most likely a partial refund unless no work has started.
- Artistic Freedom -
If you request “Artistic Freedom” from me, this leaves the image up to the artist on concept, design, and style. You will receive a sketch WIP for approval and have 3 changes for that sketch if needed. You will not receive any other form of WIP’s such as color, lines final renders etc. You may request a key word, theme, or phrase so that can give me an idea. You leave your image in the hands of the artist.
- Revisions / Changes To The Art -
WIP / Work In Progress Shots: Yes, every commission I do there will be WIP progress images sent to the commissioner through email or through the note system here on FA.
Progress shots must be requested for sketches or smaller work such as badges. Large mistakes (such as markings or large character mistakes) will be noted at the delivery and addressed case-to-case. Requesting progress shots will not increase the price of the commission.
You will receive WIP including sketch, lines, color, and final finishing touches. Please be precise and clear with what you would like changed. It makes it easier if your description of your commission is to the point and understandable.
Additional Charges for Changes:
A total of 3 minor changes may be made once the commission is complete (ex: You find an error, I will change it and send it back, you find another error, I change it again and send it back). If you require more than 3 changes to a final product, it will be a $15 fee charge, discussed with the client case-by-case, for my time and the changes requested.
- Usage Legal Rights -
I retain the full copyrights to the art created. I retain the right to post images digitally and hold all reproduction rights. I may use images in my own publications offline; for example: sell prints of any images I create.
Client Usage Rights: You have the right to distribute the artwork I produce for you in digital form for non-profit personal use only unless directed otherwise in our correspondence. You are not allowed to use it for commercial purposes (ex: logos, layouts, print sales, stickers, pretty much anything you can sell). If you wish to use my artwork for commercial reasons, you will need to purchase the rights from me for an additional fee. If you wish to purchase these rights feel free to contact me and we can work out a price.
- Do's & Don't's (What I'm comfortable and not comfortable drawing.) -
Things I Will Not Draw
• AI / NFT's (computer-generated art)
• Hate artwork, anything involving nazis, racism, sexism, abelism, transphobia, homophobia, xenophobia, etc. Any bullying of any kind is never allowed!
• Pedophilia and Zoophillia (beastility) (feral porn)
• Anything with urination or scat.
• Farting
• Anything with blood coming from genitals or the anus.
• Anything with vomit.
• Anything involving underage characters in NSFW/suggestive content. (Cub porn basically)
• Anything involving straight up rape/sexual harassment
• Overly complex characters (ex: a character with every color of the rainbow and crazy markings.)
• Robots (I've never practiced and had much experience drawing these types so I wouldn't be very good at designing complex robots.)
Things I Will Draw
• Fanart (Nintendo, Pokemon, Sonic, Kingdom Hearts, MLP, Beastars, etc.)
• Any type of species including humanoids, Angel Dragons, and Protogens. (Humans are drawn rarely but if requested I can draw them.)
• Babyfurs (clean art only)
• Mild suggestive ratings (ex: Mature art showing genitals and sexual adult scenes.)
• Mild gore scenes (involving some blood)
• Candygore
• Soft Fetishes (ex: feetpaws, TF, slime, micro/macro, bondage, pet/master, vore, and maw.)
